Event Details and FAQs
Question: Can I reserve tables for my large party?
Answer: Reservations for up to 20 people in the taproom may be arranged by filling out the form above. Reservations are considered on a “first come, first served” basis and are available during normal business hours. We will hold the tables for 15 minutes after the agreed upon reservation time or the tables will be released. There will be a $50.00 booking fee, due at least 2 weeks prior to your reservation date. This booking fee of $50.00 secures your spot and will be refunded at the end of your party. You may cancel the reservation, and receive a full refund of your booking fee if canceled 7 days prior to the event date. If you cancel after this time-frame, or are a no-show, you will forfeit the booking fee.
Question: What if my group is larger than 20 people?
Answer: We offer private party reservations for up to 90 people in the taproom. This means the taproom and brewery will be closed to the public. These are available ANY day of the week! Please note the following:
- Private party rates will require a purchase minimum of $200.00 per hour.
- This fee covers staffing, clearing and additional coordination required for your event, along with all clean-up.
- It does NOT include gratuities for the bartenders. Please don’t forget about them!!
- A booking fee of $100.00 is required ONE MONTH in advance of the date you wish to reserve. This booking fee secures your spot on the Private Party Schedule and will be refunded to you at the end of your private event. You may cancel the reservation, and receive a full refund of your booking fee if canceled 14 days prior to the event date. If you cancel after this time-frame, or are a no-show, you will forfeit the booking fee.
Question: Can I customize the Castleburg beers offered at my event?
Answer: Absolutely! We encourage guests to work with our event coordinator in advance to select beers or tasting flights they’d like to make available to their guests. Of course, this will be based on the beers available at the time of your event.
Question: Can I serve outside food at my private event?
Answer: Absolutely! We do not have a commercial kitchen at Castleburg Brewery, and therefore we welcome guests to bring in outside food. We do require that our event coordinator approve caterer or vendor in advance.
Question: Can I invite a Food Truck to my private event?
Answer: Yes, with prior approval from our event coordinator. Guests are solely responsible for all destination charges and setup fees required by food truck vendor. We are happy to provide space for these trucks.
Question: Can I decorate the space for my private event?
Answer: Yes! You can arrive 30 minutes prior to your event to decorate.
Question: What if I need to use a rental company to decorate my event?
Answer: We do not handle any rental company coordination. However, we are happy to work with any rental company you may choose and ask for two days notice of equipment arrival. Castleburg Brewery is not responsible for the setup of rented equipment.
Question: Can I have live music at my event?
Answer: Yes! The host would be responsible for arranging live music and paying their fees. Please keep in mind that the space available for live music is small. You would need to coordinate this with the music provider and the event coordinator.
Question: How far in advance do I need to book my event?
Answer: Spaces are booked on a first come, first served basis. The earlier you inquire and are able to begin planning the better, as demand and availability can fluctuate during the holiday season.
